ABOUT THE COMPANY

I LOVE that this company is 100% organic, something that I strive for even with Tea End as I really do care about my company’s foot-print on the environment. Pukka goes so far as to design their boxes with vegetable ink. Yes, this lovely pink design was made from vegetable ink! Thank you so much Pukka for not only caring about beautiful tea blends but also our beautiful planet!
TEA COLOR
This tea blend is visually like that of Chamomile. The tea may be a little darker than most chamomile teas since there are other ingredients such as rose and lavender, but over-all, I would liken it to the hue of chamomile tea.

AROMA
Warm and soothing; I know this isn’t necessarily a scent but this tea has an interesting way of transferring the feeling through each sniff. I had to make mention of it when describing the smell because the warmth plays not only with the sense of touch and taste, but also with the sense of smell.
Sweet; the tea has other organic ingredients that lend sweetness to the scent. The licorice root plays a major part in the smell of sweetness and reminds me of a tea that I once sipped before. Do you remember The 5th Chakra Tea by Buddha Teas? This tea also had licorice root and was an herbal blend.
Chamomile couples with floral essence of lavender; the chamomile is definitely dominant but close behind it is the rose, a very soft hint of it. Quickly following the rose is the lavender scent, but it isn’t too strong.
I’m not going to lie, I was a bit disappointed about the scent of this tea as it is an “avant-gout” of what the tea will taste like. I love a rose tea and this tea is described as being a blend of chamomile, lavender and rose. Whenever I see “rose” as an integral ingredient in a tea, I get really excited. BUT! This tea failed me on the rose. I was not able to smell the rose and neither taste it. Speaking of the taste…
TASTE
(without sweetener) Natural Chamomile flavor with an organic sweetness of the licorice root
(with sweetener; sugar) Chaomile and licorice root are accentuated and they couple well together
Sometimes teas do not smell/taste the way that their tea boxes describe and this tea fits the bill. Although I am a stickler on teas being described as they taste I thought this tea was very soothing, warming and delicious!
I find myself sipping this tea at night before bed. It is so calming and warm that I feel I may become too lax if I sipped it during the day when I need focus and awareness. The tea bags come in a beautiful pink box that I think would be a great gift!
