Sipping and Reading in the Parc

If you don't know much about me by now, you do know two things. I love to read and I love to sip tea. These two pass-times go hand-in-hand and are ever more enjoyable when coupled with a beautiful social scenery of which is plentiful in your local park. I would like to share with you what I took on my latest "Reading and Sipping Time in the Parc" adventure and how I turned two classics into an enchanted afternoon!

My Reading and Sipping Time in the Parc Essentials:
1. Great Read I took "The Secret History of the Pink Carnation". The book is very good, by the way, and I hope to do a review on it soon!
2. Delish Tea My favorite tea in general is white tea. I took a wine bottle filled with this tea sweetened with honey.
3. Fashion Magazine Although I love to read, sometimes I just want to sit back and enjoy the park scenery. If you take along a less intense read, such as a fashion magazine, then you will be able to take in natures beauty while still amusing yourself with a good read!
4. Snacks I love to snack! Instead of taking cumbersome food items, I love to take various snacks with me to the park. Cheese and crackers, lemon flower-shaped cookies, celery and chicken fingers are amongst some of my choice snack items.
5. Tea Cup It would be a shame to have tea but no tea cup. Choose your favorite tea cup and pack it in your pic-nic basket. You will feel the enchantment with every sip!
6. Blanket Bring a large blanket to sit on, in this way, you can sit on the ground and be "grounded" without getting grass and dirt on your skirt!

Be sure to choose a great spot! I try to find a place where I can see and enjoy the laughter and glee of others, but not so much so that my reading and sipping are interrupted.
I like to choose a spot underneath a tree that provides shade, but still allows me to enjoy the bright vitamin-D coming from the sun! If possible, choose a location close to a water source so that the trickling sound of H2O can sooth you.

When you choose to do your reading and sipping at the park, you get the benefit of nature and all it's colors and sometimes you have pleasant non-human guests!

A little caterpillar with a taste for tea came to join me!
